The machine receives pins/contact pins from a vibrator, which it independently positions and inserts into the four seats in the die-cast metal component of the steering wheel body. The thrust pressure and final height of the inserted pin are controlled and adjustable. Each individual product is tested and any defects are identified and discarded. Loading and picking of the component is done manually by an operator while the centering and application of the pins/contacts is done automatically.
